THE HOP CLUB FAQ

What hops can I expect?
It’s a surprise! We do often have a theme for each issue and usually select suitable hops that match the theme. E.g. for our Pilsner issue (#12) our members got Styrian Bobek and Hallertau Blanc. For our Stout issue (#10), Phoenix & Northdown. We constantly look out for fun hops that might be hard to get hold of for the homebrewer eg Pacifica (NZ) & Bru-1 (USA) in issue 14. They will almost always be in dried, pellet form.

When will I get your hops?
You’ll get your first Hop Club delivery on the next release. We ship them out in mid March, June, September and December each year.  If you’d like to get going sooner then be sure to add the Brewer’s Bundle to your order, we’ll dispatch that within 2 working days, or the next working day if you choose that option at checkout.

Who is Dark Farm and The Hop Club?
Well, thanks for asking! We’re a small, family run business with a passion for homebrewing and beer. Our friendly community of Hop Club members is made up of a helpful bunch of homebrewers of varying experience levels with a wide range of beer interests.

How much is The Hop Club membership?
Membership costs £60 a year if you pay annually. If you pay quarterly it amounts to £70 a year. You’ll pay your first year’s fees up front when you join (£60) and your membership will automatically renew after the first year, unless cancelled.

Can I cancel my subscription?
Your first year’s subscription fees are paid upon joining. Choose to pay quarterly or annually (best value) thereafter! You can cancel anytime and your membership will stop at the end of your membership period. Unfortunately we can’t offer any refunds for unused membership (your statutory rights are not affected).
