RECIPE: Aussie APA

One of the main reasons for heading Down Under last year was to see my good friend Tim. On
our fist night in Sydney we hit the local tap houses – Four Pines, Nomads and Seventh
Day – with his neighbour Ric. After a few I was eagerly convincing them to start brewing
at home… “don’t worry it’s easy; you’ll save a small fortune” etc, etc. Anyway, after a few
more they purchased the equipment: a Robobrew, FermZilla and mini kegs. The pressure
was now on me to prove my point! They are both big fans of Furphy beer so I came up with
this recipe. I’m glad to say that when I landed back in Blighty I was inundated with text
messages of two very proud new beer daddies. Beer daddies who on their very first brew
actually nailed it! Well done boys, and welcome to homebrewing.
