My 60l Brew Tank arrived last week and my first brew with it was a pleasure…it’s amazingly robust and flexible with an array of configurations possible by adding tri-clamp accessories. The RIMS system held the mash temperature very stable. The positioning of the ports (eg the heating elements, thermowells and whirlpool) makes brewing anything from 15l to 50l easy. The 3kW element meant that the boil was plenty vigorous – the boil-off rate was around 4.5l per hour. Clean-up was a breeze: I bought a 13mm tri-clamp hose barb, attached a standard garden hose to pump waste cleaning fluid straight down the drain. The ‘wort sprayer’ works well during the mash and is actually a clean-in-place ball, so also great for cleaning after the brew. Gareth’s personal customer support is excellent – all in all I’d totally recommend the Tank – it’s better value, better build quality and much more flexible than near competitors.

The rims and spray head make all grain so simple… 40 mins in and the wort is clear as a bell and the 1.5kw element and inkbird make it a sit back n enjoy process…. Best brewing investment ever
