This beer popped up on my radar when I was searching for brew inspiration for this South & South East Asia issue. It’s an American Brown Ale made using black rice, brewed by Anderson Valley Brewing Co in California. After looking at what I had in my own supplies, I adapted the ingredients while, hopefully, sticking to the essence of its original creation. Fun fact: black rice was originally only for royalty. Is this the king of Brown Ale, perhaps?
